OUR TEAM
Do you know where your tiles come from? Cement tiles are part of the heritage and cultural/artistic identity of Morocco.
We have an enviable team of mellums or tile artisans, many of whom have 20+ years of experience at their craft. Our crew, from the tile makers to the packing team, are talented and proud.
Our team has healthcare and benefits, paid holidays, Friday couscous complements of popham design, and even paid English and French lessons.
Our aim isn't just to make beautiful handmade tiles; we are providing fair, rewarding employment that helps keep Morocco's artisanal culture alive.
Founders Caitlin and Samuel Dowe-Sandes are on hand daily at the factory to ensure the quality of our tiles and workplace.
